Needless to say, as I went on multiplayer, I was equally pleased with the performance of the game. No super overpowered weapons like in COD, and few (not none) spawning issues. It had the baseline experience of Halo, where one had limited firearms and had to choose for the exact situation at hand. The speed of combat was that of COD, intense and quick. But the health and player technique was that of Halo- with all sorts of powers and different things the player could do to help turn the tide, other than his weapon.
I was, still am, thrilled with the game. The only thing I hate to death is the DSG, simply because I svck at sniping. Which is why I was amazed as I came onto the site for the first time to see 95% of topics/comments pertaining to how terribly unbalanced or broken the game was. Internet problems, weapon inefficiency, bullet lag, etc....
My NAT Type is Moderate, which as many know, isn't the best connection to have. In fact, joining other Xbox Live parties is even a hassle. That doesn't stop me from having a 2. 68 K/D, though. (Yes, not as high as 3, but I don't play to win) I've never had actual LAG in a game where my bullet detection was delayed- or even missed. Every game I play my bullets either hit of just miss because my recoil builds up too much.
I've never seen the "grain" issue, but that's probably because I never play singleplayer twice, and that's where I've heard it's at.
So people, lay down your guns of hatred and appreciate Crysis 2 for what it is- a unique, innovative turn in the FPS series. Is it perfect? No. By no means. There are still minor frustrations throughout multiplayer, such as the "Bump-lose-energy" scenario, or the melee-damage counter. But they're fixing it- they're fixing everything they can to make the experience better.
Just thought I'd help remind people of a better time when they may've appreciated Crysis for everything it WAS, and not everything it WASN'T.
