1. Its hard enough now to get a full game going on MP. When i bought this game on release date every game was full, now im lucky to get a full game, but usually only 6 players per game average now. The community is slowly walking away.
2. How many others are gonna buy this DLC and are the map gonna be worth paying for if hardly anyone has them?
3. I read rumors that a patch fixing alot of issues would be released near the same time as the DLC this week, Is this true?
4. Is there gonna be any weapons added or upgrades to weapons/armor/achievements etc? There really should be if not. This is a totally sweet game when it plays right and it should evolve and get better by adding things like this as well.
5. Are there gonna be some new game styles in MP soon? Is crytek interested in making this game and its evolution as great as it can be? There is so much that can be done with this game, it is just so bare bones right now. If it can have even half the stuff some of the better online MP games have, crysis2 will be a force in the community of gamers.
6. My honest opinion is that crysis 2 is a gold mine of opportunity and the people that know this are begging for fixes and something more. Does crytek and EA know what they even have here? Do they care enough to grow? IS there any official statements from the company saying what some of the plans are for the game and community for the future? If not sell them franchise to someone who will make this game as good of if not better a experience online as the halo and COD franchises.
I have been about as patient as anyone on here, and constantly have a positive attitude and outlook here in the forum and the crysis 2 community. I know what i have is a gold mine of a game sitting on my shelf most the time that when working has given me one of the best game play MP experiences ever with just its bare bones release package.
Its really sad to watch the community slowly walk away from this game, selling it, trading it, or like me shelving it with a glimmer of hope. I sincerely hope crytek knows what is happening and what they truly have on their hands, and can sense the urgency of getting these issues fixed asap before its to late, and addressing the concerns of its die hard community base. The gaming industry is cut throat and someone out there will come out with a game and address its community and evolve, leaving crytek behind smoldering in the ashes of the one of the greatest missed opportunity flops ever, next to doom. Lucky for crytek, BRINK wasnt that great, but who knows when the next one will come out that is great.
As a fan, paying customer, and someone sincerely concerned about the welfare of this game i love so much, i am desperately pleading to crytek to please address the issues ASAP and make this kick ass game great, before im left playing the same very few die hard fans when i decide out of memories sake to pop in the game and play a few rounds.
