hey guys/girls, just wanted to know if the stealth kills work on the run, on the xbox. i play on the PS3 and you can't stealth kill a moving target since the 1.02 patch. whould like to know if this is a PS3 issue or a console issue.
anyway hope you're all enjoy this game as much i was before the PSN outage.

I think it's a timing thing, although the major lag doesn't help that. I have gone a game or two where ALL my kills were stealth kills, but I think I was host lol anywho, yeah It's mostly about timing, and I think (for the most part) you can't get moving target stealth kills unless your directly behind them and are like less than a foot away, I've found that if your not it usually results in a melee attack, which results in de-cloaking, which results in getting turned on and dying, so yeah lol

I believe that issue was fixed in the latest 360 patch. Check the notes at the top of the page.

yeah a mate and i tried stealth kills in a private match, playing the same house so there was no lag and it would'nt work, even if i was right behind him, i would just hit him. I'm hoping this gets fixed once the PSN is back up as i do enjoy stealth killing.

Its tough. Sometimes Ill wind up getting behind them and accidentally punch them, but most of the time if I time it right and make sure Im behind them and not on their side (something that also can mess it up, a last minute turn by the enemy) then it pretty much has almost always worked for me.

I rarely try to stealth kill. Only 25 of my 2000 kills are stealth kills so I really have no idea how the patch may have affected it but I know you have to get very lucky on the timing.

I have played since release, and for the first month or two, you could not Stealth Kill anyone unless they stood absolutely still and you took your time to look for the little text telling you to Stealth Kill. After some aggrevating unsuccesful attempts I gave it up completely.

I only recently started Stealth Killing opponents when I saw how easy it is now, it is perfect. I have had matches were nearly all my kills were Stealth Kills, seeing how easy it is to do now.
