Who here got the Retaliation map pack? Did anyone go through with not buying it, or were you too tempted by that battleship in one of the maps?

I for one didn't.

I went through with not buying until they fix the grain glitch. They fix that and I will gladly fork over my $10. To be honest, the fact that they are now releasing this DLC before a bug as blatant as the grain glitch hasn't been fixed among others makes me angry as hell. Feels like a big middle finger from Crytek.

EU wasnt meant to get the DLC until the 18th, yeh, its the 18th but its 05.45. I've bought DLC for a lot of games on both 360 & PS. When I was a noob gamer it used to annoy me when USA got DLC & games first but thats until I realised that thats how things are but it does have its benefits.

Ever other time i've bought DLC on both consoles it NEVER gets here early, EVER. Its always been between 10am to 5pm for 360 & 4pm to 6pm for PS. When I was a noob gamer I used to sit there all night waiting for DLC to appear. I just turned the 360 on & to my amazement it was just sat there. Typical. Another one of my best FPS games I have no intentions of buying the DLC for. Just sitting there hours earlier than it should be. That would of been DL instantly normally.

The way the DLC has been implemented is a defo no buy for me. I'm not gunna lie. I'm gutted because even if a patch comes now i'm not getting it until the game mode rotation option is changed.

Nope, went to trade mine in at gamestop. Found a couple of customers and traded in Crysis 2 and Black Ops for for 80 bucks! Went up to them and offered it and they bought. Goodbye Crysis 2, and Blackops you won't be missed. Hello Dead Space 2 and Brink. It's pretty much was a win win. I got more money than gamestop would have ever gave me and they got $120 worth of games for 80, so yeah.

Until you mentioned Brink I tought you had yourself a good deal there.
