Are you working on fixing the party/lobby issues Crytek?

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 2:27 am

After playing for a couple of hours with one friend, I had a few more join and had a party of 5 players, all with the Retaliation map pack.
For 2 of these players, it was the first time back on Crysis 2 due to the failure of getting into a game together the last time we played a couple of weeks ago.
We spent 45 minutes trying to get into a game together, only to get put on different teams, in different games, kicked from party, console freezing, and then with 5 of us in a fresh lobby, 1 random joined and it split us 3 v 3!!
WE WANT TO BE ON THE SAME TEAM THAT IS WHY WE ARE IN A PARTY!!!
I had enough, said goodnight and turned off my Xbox.

It's no wonder that the more casual gamers are giving up on Crysis 2 if whenever they try and play with friends it is a complete failure such as this.

Can somebody from Crytek reassure us that you are working on this issue or are we all destined to play with randoms forever??

I'm going with yupyup's answer.

My NAT is OPEN, I'm on an ADSL2+ connection and none of my other games do this.

also yes, it's no good asking, Crytek WILL NOT answer.

I didn't mention in my OP that all of our NAT types are OPEN and none of us are new to online gaming (or have broken games?), as I didn't see this as a cause of all of us getting into a game but split into different teams, or the freezing of our consoles when entering lobbies/games.
This doesn't happen to any of us on other games.

Still hopeful for an answer from Crytek please.
