mouse/aiming lag

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 12:38 am

I recently played a few games of Crysis 2 after being away for about a month. I noticed some aiming lag in the game that I was never aware of before. It made the gun feel very floppy and made it very difficult for me to stay on a moving target because I really had to anticipate where the other guy was going. This effect varies on different parts of the map, sometimes it gets very bad and I just want to sit somewhere and camp, while other times it's just barely noticeable. I was using the SCAR and the SCARAB when I noticed this, but when I switched to the Feline it seemed to disappear, so WTF? Did weapon weight effects get implemented into the game?

for a fact, the dsg has a decreased sensitivity when zoomed in. I haven't found a way to circumvent it, unfortunately.

If anybody knows how to get your regular sens when zoomed in, any help would be appreciated.

The game has a 'mouse smoothing' feature that will lag the mouse unless you go out of your way to disable it. VSync will cause input lag sometimes.

For me at least there could be an option to decrease sensitivity further when zoomed in, I have larger that usual field of view and it's way too sensitive when zoomed in.
