The game doesn't work properly, did you seriously think that the DLC would?

Like many people here, I won't be buying the DLC until Crytek fix the game. At the very least it will help to pressure them to fix it.

Unfortunately, there are always a bunch of idiots who will buy DLC regardless.

There are an ever decreasing number of people playing online, you have wasted your money.

So you're calling us who bought the dlc for idiots? That's not very nice of you. If we like the game, experience either no bugs or very few minor bugs, and love playing the multiplayer, then why shouldn't we get it.

I agree although the lobby system is a complete mess as I have posted recently once your in-game then there are very few problems except if a really really bad host is chosen so I have no problem buying the DLC.

Funny thing is I bought it a few days ago but I like the old maps more than the new ones. I find the new maps too large and it takes forever to get from end to another. Also it's really hard to find games on the new maps and when you do everyone is a try-hard with the Feline, can't stand playing against a team of Feline players because it forces me to use it as well as you cannot win against a Feline 1-on-1 unless you're very lucky. At least on the old maps people use 5-6 different weapons which is more fun imo.

It didn't work for me either the first 2 times I installed it. The 3rd download took care of it though. I went back to playing Modern Warfare 2 though until the game works better. I feel like I gave it plenty of time.

So, are all the other people in this forum complaining about this game idiots too?

My whole point is that too many companies want their games released on time, so if the game isn't finished on time they will release it anyway, and try and fix it with online updates. I don't think that this is acceptable.
At least most games will get fixed shortly after release. This one has a ridiculous amount of problems, and I have no confidence that they will all be fixed. It should not have been released in this state. Crytek are not talking to us and are not fixing the problems.

Now, if the Crysis player community stuck together, and refused to buy their DLC until it was fixed, then they will be forced to fix it wouldn't they? But they know that they can release DLC for this broken game, and they know the plebs will buy it, so why should they bother fixing it, they have our money. The people who are buying the DLC are sending them the wrong signal.

I'm not happy to say these things, I am not a troll. I thought this game was superb at first, and bought it for both PS3 and Xbox 360. After all the bugs became apparent, I feel I have been ripped off, more than with any other game I have ever bought.

I, like many others on this forum, am very angry at Crytek and EA, but so far I have resisted the temptation to blast them with nasty posts on here like many others have! So far...
