I am happy it is lower. Have you seen the rise in noobs online? More people are playing it since the price reduction.

Its was sold out in a few stores here (UK) the last week or so in my local area. Mostly due to a the stores offering special trade in deals for it. IM still happy I payed for it new (￡ 39.95) because its worth every penny to me.

The game is two months old already and is still not fixed. It's not surprising the price has gone down a little. It's not like this game is anywhere near as popular as games like Call of Duty that tend to hold their full price for longer because of demand. Maybe if the game wasn't rushed out the door with glitch all over it would be more popular like Call of Duty and it would still be full price.

Its not demand that holds the prices of games like CoD high, its price gouging by the sellers and publishers. Hell when BO came out here they charged ￡45 for it, which iirc my EU laws, is the highest price you can charge for a game in the EU. Activision is now the greediest and laziest of publishers who are trying to milk every red cent out of the masses they can for as little work as they can. Even EA have come back from the master of evil they used to be and are actually a relatively fair publisher when it comes to prices and content.

Well it's that and demand. Come on. I don't think the publisher would feel so confident about price gouging if there wasn't high demand. You can't deny there is high demand for Call of Duty. It still sells more than any other game.

CoD;BO sold by the bucket load in the first few weeks, there is little "demand" left in the market for it. Yet its still priced like a new title just out, even when vids of the next game are out. CoD now frankly svcks donkeyconk (change 2nd N for C), I can say that as one of the REAL ORIGNAL CoD players (CoD/2/3/MW). Activision is treating it like a sports franchise now, with yearly releases because they know that the muppets with cash will run out and buy the latest over-hyped claptrap they are selling.

Yes I did buy BO however I got it essentially free, after trading in some unwanted games. Why? Simply because my friends being new to online gaming in any kind of competative form bought it. As soon as C2 hit the shelves, I knew it was going back because C2 at least is trying something different in gameplay mechanics. I dont want to sound like im praising EA here, but they have taken the view that big titles need time to make. BF2 showed what a really great genre defining game can do when you take time to make it and make it well. BF3 is its make or break time in this regard. If its of the SSDD variety, the online masses will leave it for the next CoD. If it retains some of its old style but brings new ideas and gameplay mechanics to the table it will go like hotcakes.

I hate to break it to you, but COD:BO is still highly in demand and people are still buying it by the bucket-load compared to other games out there. It's hard to believe, I know, but it's true. I read an article about that just the other day on a game news website. Some even buy it more than once because they played it, traded it, got bored with other games and went out and bought it again. It's a phenomenon.

FYI, I am one of the original COD players to. I have COD+EXP/2/2:Big Red One/3/4/MW2/BO. I'm not a hater of COD, I like them all and still do. COD3 wasn't that good though, but that's what happens when you rush devs. I like Crysis 1&2/Warhead also and many other shooters like all the Battlefields for example, excluding Modern Combat the first console BF. That one svcked. I don't discriminate between them. They are all good to me.

I'm going to have shell out a lot of money this November with COD:MW3 and BF:3 coming out at the same time. I plan on getting both. I never trade my games in.
