So the first time i started up crysis, the save/checkpoint function worked as you would expect it to do, but the second time and for everytime i play the game now, the game does not save my checkpoints,

I started playing and got almost 2 hours into the game from my last save, and died, when it loaded it went back to where i started, i restarted my game again to see if it would load the right(latest with all my progression in those 2 hours) but it actually jumped back another checkpoint, i retried, and it jumped another checkpoint back, and keeps doing so for every time i reload the game.

I could not find anything about this in the forums, but if someone knows a workaround or a fix for this i would really appreciate it.
