BF3 has been announced and i think it will be a great contender against crysis 2 Multiplayer. It seems to take verything we love about BF, 64 players, huge maps and stick it on frostbite 2.0 (fighter jet bombing run FTW). so will it be better than crysis 2 multi player? the games are very different styles with Cryteks new multiplayer aproach but what will be better?
Can someone tell me if frostbite 2.0 is the same engine BC2 used?

Wow....battlefield sounds bad ass....why isn't it more popular than Call of Duty? lol

Battlefield isn't as popular because it takes more skill to play and has a higher learning curve. Additionally, Battlefield is a major PC game and PC tends to have a community that is not quite so outspoken when a game is good (very loud with bad games however), while console games are more outspoken and have lots more marketing to grab the attention of its community. Battlefield is not really designed for console gameplay, it is a PC game at heart. CoD is designed for the consoles since it can't compete well with its similar rival of the Counter Strike behemoth on PC, and the consolers lap up Cod like it is the only game released worth trying.

No bc2 used a customed frostbite 1 engine more like 1.5. Frostbite .Only Bf3 uses the new frostbite 2.0
