Van Buren RP

Post » Wed May 18, 2011 6:41 pm

So...I thought it would be fun to do a jailbreak RP and what better locale than Tibbetts.

Im thinking it could/should be done as a more proper RP, so rather than having a character ill be the DM, dungeon master.

I've never done anything like that...but u figure it's just Narrator plus controlling NPCs.

It wouldn't start for awhile as its difficult to.type sizeable posts using a cell phone.

Id make a few introductory posts to post rules and poster CSs and then to briefly introduce the world and kickstart the events.

At the beginning it would be geared toward finding the prisoners, but as the story progresses, and as I read about Van Buren, perhaps we could venture further into what would have been.

PS

Van Buren was the codename for the Fallout 3 that was cancelled. New Vegas used parts of it.

If this gets a decent bit of interest ill be spending some time trying to put together the bits and pieces we know about Van Buren, so of anyone had an area of the game that particularly interested them let me know.

I want to do it well if we:re going to do it...so shoot me any suggestions please.

This sounds like an interesting concept. If you make it I'd like to join, it would be a good place to start getting back into the forums again.

Unfortunately I know little about Van Buren so I don't have many ideas as to how the plot should progress.

This is interesting but it's a very iffy topic. The general people don't know much about Van Buren except it was supposed to be "Fallout 3". I myself know only what information I stumble upon and it seems the same for most people who have become Fallout fans recently(when Fallout 3 was announced or way after the first two games were released).

That's pretty much WHY I think it'd be so interesting. It would be a way to experience some portion of a game that will never be. They had some bad ass ideas too.

Forgot to clarify...

It would be a good way to experience that feeling if...WOW...where do I go first. If that is people.don't just read the wiki.
