I'm having issues with the CS, because oblivion is not installed. I
lost my discs so I can't re-install the game, not do I want to. I have no interest in playing for now, I just wanna play around with some scripts and some crazy ideas I have.

Is there any other way to interact with the .esp files other than using the CS ? I can install it but it crashes every time I open it.

Perhaps somebody else have had more luck running the CS in a "Oblivionless" environment.

It needs to be installed. Without the Oblivion.esm file the cs cant do anything.

Its just a medium for accessing the information, it doesnt have the information itself.

Cant blame you for not wanting the game installed tho :wink_smile:
