Mod conflict - How to resolve?

I've got 2 mods which BOTH alter Moria's base vendor inventory, therefore the later one overwrites to former. Now, even I know that this is one of the ultimate modding no-no's, and the GECK wiki clearly instucts on how to avoid this conflict.

Question is, is the only way around this to change both mods via the GECK (not something I'm too keen on doing. When I tried this last for Oblivion I somehow lost the shop's floor, and we all just flew about :cryvaultboy: )
There's no Bash tags for this, I mean, the Actor Invent tag doesn't even fully work (hence Moira, Cutter and Senora Cruz being nekid!)
