Ok well I have about had it up to here... When I first got my desktop I played morrowind and was all fine and dandy for a gt 9800, then I added a gtx2XX my framerate in game went to 200 with mges distant lands on Unfortunately it was a bad graphics card and I had to return it my framerate went back to normal.

I just started Playing again with a new monitor and a new graphics card + power supply and I am going as low as 18 with mge, unlike when I tried it with my last graphics card which as I said went up to 200 fps. I need help

4gb of ddr3 ram
a 640gb hard drive
with a gtx 2xx (I don't remember what it was)
with a 1360x768 monitor.
500wat power supply

My your computer can clearly run the game fine, I'm guessing that's not the problem. Try reinstalling Morrowind and MGE and see if that works. Hope this helps.
