You know that funny bug where people who were following you suddenly show up at the front of a jail if you get arrested? Probably the most common example is the Fighters Guild people from the weapon delivery quest in Cheydinhal. But today, someone showed up that I'd never seen show up before (committed a petty crime for Two Sides of the Coin): The King of Miscarand.

I guess he was still technically chasing me after I stole the Great Welkynd Stone and fled not by killing him and taking the key, but by picking the door lock and running away.

Who have you had show up when you were released from jail?

The King of Miscarcand told his zombie thugs to keep an eye out for arrest records. They then plotted to have you assassinated as soon as you were released. Count yourself lucky you didn't end up like Lee Harvey Oswald.

Much like you can get a really good show if you install a few dozen mods and head for the Tiber Septim Hotel lobby. That's always fun, too.
