The merry glitches and bugs that caused lols for all.

Well now here is an interesting thought. I have time and time again seen glitches and bugs that send great lols through the sky but frustrate me because I was never able to record them, So now I give people a chance to tell their tales of great lols here. I will list the ones I remember here and then post some more as I see them or remember them.

1. The Stunt Bear. I grab a Greater Staff of lighting, shoot a Brown Bear, and watch it stunt into the horizon. Strangely enough it would stop and freeze in midair after enough flight time.

2. The floating reader. I think his name was Marric. He is an imperial who is in the anvil mages guild that after a night of sleep I walked downstairs only to find him reading his usual book while FLOATING. I spoke to him and he died immediately within conversation. Strange thing is I could still speak to him, but after exiting the dialogue I could only loot his corpse.

3. Adamus Pieces, Heironimous Flex, and Itious Lane. The funny names describe what happened to these watch captains. The first split to pieces after being knocked unconscious. The second was turned into a long necked abomination by a paralyze spell and was still able to walk forward menacingly. The last was stretched thin as paper for many yards.

4. Guard door love. I let Ulrich Leland kill to guards in his jail cell. I close the guards stuck in the middle of the cell door. The fun began. But it soon got dirty, and the guards started doing some things better not talked about.

5. Flight Death. Merandil and Jesan Rilian are my favorite partners. I take them everywhere and even gave them ebony armor and bound armor. Somehow after leaving the Akatosh Chapel of Kvatch Merandil started floating above the wooden fence to the right of the entrance. Soon enough he died and became a flapping mass of body parts for the rest of the eternity. At least until I loaded.

6. Monster Amoeba Guard. This was awesome and was actually done by my brother. He killed the guard in Roxy Inn and left immediately. Then went back inside. The guard became a flapping mass of doom that killed everyone in Roxy Inn through glitching and began pulling them and flinging their bodies everywhere, even upstairs. My brother replicated about 600 bonemeals and ate them all. Soon he became knocked out and was being pulled by the Amoeba Guard. He flew in and out of the Inn and even watched a horror scene. He was blasted upstairs and left undisturbed for a little while. Then Pranol was launched next to him, an Amoeba Guard leg stuck to his chest. He was slowly pulled away like in a horror movie and then dragged through the air like nothing. The amoeba guard took a good 34 or so minutes before finally stopping his rampage.

7. Ulrich Troll. Although not a glitch or bug, this was hilarious. I set the game to hardest and fought Ulrich with my bare hands while he did the same. He beat me down, but just as I hit the floor he looked down at my body and said "What Now?".

8. Adamus Philida Smackdown. So my brother made this character named "hombre EXTREMO!" exactly like that, which by the way means extreme man in spanish. He made his eternal rival Adamus Philida and fought him to no end with his fists on the bridge outside of the imperial prison. After a brutal confrontation, hombre extremo hit Adamus with his forward power attack and caused Adamus Philida to fly in high speeds backwards through the entire bridge and hit the wall with a painful splatter. The scene was amazing and I cannot describe it enough. Interestingly though, Adamus now follows hombre extremo wherever he goes and is never able to arrest him, even when yielded to. He sometimes leaves, and then reappears with the exact same weapon hombre extremo has equipped at the moment.

The first is perfectly explainable. The bear is shot away by the physics engine then he hits the wall that is the border between the loaded world and the unloaded world and thus, sticks in mid air because there is no physics in that area to enable it to continue flying

Your examples remind me of a few youtube vidoes of Oblivion bugs I've seen over the years:

I had one a couple of weeks ago that was freaky. I was trying to pick the hard lock at the north sewer entrance and I had saved before I picked the lock. I picked it but I didn't like how many lockpicks I used so I reloaded the save before I entered the sewers but when I reloaded the save I was in the sewers, everything was bright and it was the outside music playing. I then exited the sewers rentered and nothing worked, the gates wouldn't open, all the enemies were dead, it was really freaky. I finally exited out to my consoles main menu and I restarted Oblivion and everything was fine.
