What If We Didn't Know Anything?

I played Guild Wars religiously from the day it was released up until 2008. I was eagerly awaiting Guild Wars 2 with the prospect that its wider scope, revolutionary quest system, and lack of monthly subscriptions (oh, and the ability to finally jump) would ensure the game could dethrone World of Warcraft and finally get Blizzard to wake up and start producing my glorious Warcraft IV. Then ArenaNet played the "dragons and guns" card, and suddenly I'm not as enthused anymore.

Dragons & Guns?

Reminds me just how much I recall wanting Bethesda to buy the Rifts license for an attempt at doing that setting. (That could be visually spectacular).

I would be happy methinks. All I need to know is that there's a new TES game, the release date and see a couple screenshots and the official PC requirements would be nice to know. Other than that, I'm happy and not all worked up and or worried.

Thats why i'm going to completely shut myself out from skyrim information after E3... don't want to spoil too much :hubbahubba:

I'm doing it now. I'm not looking at the E3 vids / threads / n stuff. It's all spoilers from now on in for me. Ok I'm off to mod my ruined fort for Oblivion. :obliviongate:

Enjoy the spoilers you crazy fans. :P :bolt:

Part of me would feel really aggravated because I'd be dying to see screenshots and gameplay, but at the same time, the anticipation would be so high, part of me would really appreciate the mystery and the intensity of the reveal. I'd probably set the bar WAAY too high.

I'd honestly probably get bored and forget about the game. I mean I would know that it's probably going to be a great game, and I'd still buy it based off of the last games, it's just I wouldn't be as excited about it until I saw screens, info, or a demo.

Well being exited is in some way a good thing, because if you get too exited over a game, it tends to be a bad game. I have learn that lesson since the release of MW2. I cant believe I have fallen to that hype.

Now as for not getting info. Well I think it's good because one of the reasons why I enjoyed Oblivion and morrowind so much id because I have never heard of those games before.

It'd be little better than the month before they announced it haha. Maybe worse.

Remember how worn and starved people were just prior to the announcement? People in the speculation threads, clamoring, begging for just an announcement. It would be just like that. We'd have the announcement, but people would be information-starved and desperate for any scraps they could get.
