Dragon-hunting anyone?

If dragons spawn somewhat randomly, and the spawn is generated depending on how long since you last encountered a dragon, would it still be possible to hunt them?
Like, say i had a sudden urge to slay dragons, would i have to traverse long distances in search of them, are they actually spawned ready for me to find, or are they spawned in anticipation of me finding them or the other way around.

Because I am sure there will come a time when I wish to hunt the beasts, but if I travel long distances looking for them, will it be pointless as they will spawn on time intervals? I am still unclear as to how they spawn exactly. Also, would there be a way to avoid dragons? I am sure I wouldn't want to fight dragons all the time, and random spawning would insist that I do.

What do you think? Would you hunt dragons yourselves? Or do you like the idea of them springing them on you when your not ready?

I believe the game senses whether or not you're avoiding the dragons. I'm not sure how it responds to it though, it might increase the spawn rate a bit if you're seeking them out, or perhaps the inverse of that.

Springing them on me when I'm not ready is nice. I like a good challenge.

Have the dragon spawns be completely random. Any time, any place.

I think it will be 100% random. It won't sense whether you are trying to find one.

I think there was a thread similar to this, but it was pages and pages long.

I'm hoping for a "Get yo' flying ass here" shout or spell.

I think that spawning will be random for the most part. But I think it would be cool if dragons were able to detect when you use shouts. Like lets say you use a dragon shout against some bandits, a far of dragon would suddenly be aware of your presence and would begin to hunt you down.

Every time we use a shout? No thank you.

There's suppose to be a limitless amount of dragons, and they spawn just like any creature, and the game knows the last time you fought one and will spawn onefor you to fight if it's been a while. Sooooo, I was thinking there's probably a % chance for a dragon to spawn in most places, however if that %chance fails to spawn a dragon for too long the game engine will see this and then automatically take it upon itself to spawn a dragon near you to fight.

My main question when it comes to dragons is this: It's been said/hinted at that we absorb a dragons soul after defeating it, and gain a new shout. I think, right? We also get shouts through text on ruins, right? Well if dragons can spawn theoretically for as long as we play(limitless) then what happens once we have all the shouts? Do we still absorb their souls? Or does taking their souls have nothing to do with shouts?
