Dovahkiin's helmet on an Argonian

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 1:15 am

I'd be surprised if the game didn't do something special for Argonian dragon-borns, I mean someone would have to comment on how ironic it is

IIRC, in Morrowind they commented on it if you were an Argonian Nerevarine.

I would like more flavor dialog given depending on your gender and race in general, not just main quest/dragonborn-related. Todd mentioned factions acting differently depending on your race, so I hope to see quite a bit of it.

Since an Argonian's face is pretty long, how will the game handle these kinds of helmets?

well actually they could have changed the argonian a little bit they could have made it more beast like or more human we will have to wait to see. My guess is when you buy armor or find it..depending on your race the game makes it fit to you

Every clothing and armor item in game is possibly going to be one size fits all. So it changes shape to fit the user. Remember that this time there are going to be different body shapes as well. In my opinion it would be great if you had to take an armor piece to a smith to attune it to yourself before you can use it.

Well http://hewiki.heroengine.com/wiki/Facegen, besides argonians can wear helmets just closed ones is forbidden, and with mods they can wear boots just feet is not covered due of engine limitation, Oblivion doesn't have such problem with skeleton alteration we can change bones of feet and even there is no need in additional animations or special rigging for mesh, feet mesh will changed just like helm change it shape, of course thats can be enhanced by unique feet mesh like this

And even special separate beast animations can be done, engine is capable for this.
