E3 2011 - Most Anticipated Games

lmfao I gave dragon age origins a try and it's lacking

still...it's better than super-racist mafia 2.

but it's my 2nd least favorite game atm

Is Mafia 2 racist in the fact that it stereotypes Italians or racist because of the time period?

I'm looking forward to seeing Skyrim, Deus Ex, and Bioshock. Hopefully, there'll be some surprise announcements as well. ^_^

That was actually a nice list, in my opinion. I was surprised to see Dark Souls on it at all, though. And I have to say that Bioshock: Infinite looks just as good, and maybe even better, than Skyrim so far. Those are the only three games I'm interested in, though :P

Too bad I never played the Mass Effect games. I wish I got into them, now, what with all the excitement about the third one.

As for ME3, I think BioWare lost a lot of people with the disappointing Dragon Age 2

I'm confused. What was wrong with Dragon Age 2? Granted, it wasn't Dragon Age: Origins.... but it wasn't supposed to be Dragon Age: Origins. It was Dragon Age 2. Not Dragon Age: Origins 2.
And if you go to Biowares forums and go into the Dragon Age 2 section, there really isn't that much 'against' DA2. At first there was, but to be honest. That was just people being pissy and unfairly judging a game because it wasn't what THEY wanted it to be. From a purely, unbiased and fair point of view, the game was absolutely great,

no it wasn't

but i can't believe bioshock over took skyrim. and his comment on how that game has beter graphics is ridiculous! I went back and forth between skyrim and bioshock, but i couldn't find how the graphics were better. I honestly think they are equal.

edit- put oblivion instead of skyrim. thats what you get when you play a game and look at the forums at the same time.

What platform are you playing it on? IMO people that played it (and DA:O) on the PC vs. on a console didn't play the same game. That's not a platform superiority comment...that type of game just doesn't work well with a control pad, so they changed the console versions quite a bit in terms of how the player interacts with the game.

On a side-note, I couldn't care less about how some guy at Gametrailers ranks E3 game presentations. The videos are interesting, but other than that aren't the 'rankings' just somebody's opinion?

The three games I'm really excited about are Skyrim (obviously), Mass Effect 3 and Kingdoms of Amular: Reckoning. Really interested in seeing what the KoA guys bring to E3, since their PAX East demo was outstanding.

Indeed. Last year's E3 was pretty boring, but this year it should be amazing.

It does. Face it, they can make it look better because its a more linear game than the EPICALLY ENORMOUS ENTITY that is Skyrim.

And Bioshock won't be completely linear like COD (I hope), it'll be similar to the first only set in the sky....rim

Okay, BioShock is a great series and all, but I think Infinite lost followers because it was set in the sky and not in Rapture. I'm excited for Arkham City, which was on the list, and also Uncharted 3. Why wasn't RAGE there, is my only question. If that were my list, RAGE would be number 1.

I don't know, I think that was a very smart choice, because after two games in the same locale would you want to go back AGAIN? Think of what it'd be like if you had to re-visit Cyrodrill three times
