So I just got into New Vegas, and although I'm not expecting the two to be the same, with so much content its possible. I personally would deal with two CD's if it meant that the game isn't going to freeze on me during loading scenes etc. What do you think? Two CD's or just try and perfect it on one?
New Vegas is glitchy because it was made by a completely different team (Obsidian instead of Bethesda), in a relatively short amount of time, with software they weren't very familiar with. None of the games developed by Bethesda (like FO3 or Oblivion) have any major problems with things like freezing during loading screens or anything like that. Any massive game is gonna have some glitches here and there, but putting it on multiple discs wouldn't really make any difference. New Vegas is a wonderful game with a solid storyline, but when it comes to glitches it's
the worst. It's a safe bet that Skyrim won't have any sort of major glitches like that, being developed by Bethesda with their own tech.
To clear things up for anyone who doesn't realize, Bethesda
did not make New Vegas, they just published it.
Also, if you're playing New Vegas and haven't played FO3, I
STRONGLY recommend that you get FO3, because it's just as great without any major glitches. In my opinion it's an overall better game, and is really no different whatsoever from New Vegas in terms of graphics and technology (if anything it's better in that aspect)
