How Will You Play As Dragon Borne

Post » Wed May 18, 2011 7:08 pm

OK so now that we know some more information about skyrim i was curious how you will play as the dragon borne It doesn't have to be the first play through but eventually i hope everyone plays out the main quest and when you do how will you do it. The questions above should specify and please list what you voted for in the posts. Remember you aren't voting for what your favorite weapon combo or type of character is but the way you think you will play as the dragon borne throughout the main quest. For instance my favorite is stealth but for the character that i create during the main quest i will be a spell sword and have a short sword and long sword instead of a dagger and a spell for my stealth character.

My first character is going to be a heavy armor wearing-axe dual wielding warrior who uses some restoration and destruction spells.
He is going to be a part of the Companions. Im going to save Skyrim to show Tamriel Orcs aren't as evil or savage as people think they are.

I am not going to play the dragon born. I am going to **** off out into the woods, find a shack to live in, and do a bit of crafting and alchemy to make enough money to put some food in my mouth and keep a roof over my head. If I am unable to do that, then Skyrim might be the biggest disappointment of 2011.

Well, for my first character, average person from Earth with space-time randomly collapsing on them, transporting them to Skyrim...

Armour: Light, preferably none. If I put on heavy armour, I'll probably end up becoming a canned meal... so... uhh... :bolt:
Weapons: Weapons? You want me to fight? Ohh Gaaaawd, WHATISTHAT, WHAT IS THAT!? Walking corpses? Diseased science!? NO, NOT THE BEES! (I mean, uh, whatever I can get my hands on, I guess. But this character would rather run than fight.)
How See Self: Pansy. That is all.
Image: Save Skyrim because I must! If Skyrim gets destroyed, I go poof with it, and now I can't find a way back home. Do not want.
Focus: No immediate plans for joining guilds. Character doesn't know they exist, really.

Real Goal (player's end): 1. Make triumph against Alduin as difficult as possible. 2. Prefer making character die without committing suicide or being stupid in general.

I'll be a full-out barbarian. Either wielding two axes, or a two handed axe. :D

  • Very light armor. Mostly clothing. Maybe a pauldron, a pair of bracers and boots. And that's it.
  • A spell and a hand axe, or whatever that is handy enough (frost-enchanted and coated with poisons to slow down the opponent whilst draining their stamina; further supported by the "bleeding damage" perk for the axe)
  • A jerk. A coward. Heavily relies on mind/crowd-controlling Illusion spells while making whatever the best out of his decent enough skills on alchemy, enchanting, sneak, marksmanship and his axe for desperate measures. And his silver tongue and a heightened commercial sense.
  • Delusions of grandeur. Running away from past trauma. Wanderlust. More excuses for his penchants of heavy drinking and fleeting relationships with women. etc.
  • A sensible vision for the future ahead: diz insufferable pissant does not haz it.
