We all know skyrim's booth is closed, but does that mean it won't turn up at someone's conference?
I believe (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) that fallout 3 was shown during microsoft's E3 press conference.
So, as the title questions, do you think it will be shown off in one?
If so, who? Will sony have Todd walk out on stage? Or will microsoft, or no one at all.

GameTrailers said that they will have the first Skyrim demo with Todd and their coverage starts after the Microsoft Press Conference, so no it won't be at anyones conference.

theres two threads already confirming that GT will have a demo june 6th and IGN will have a demo june 8th

All I did was take out the list of conferences I plan on watching, and stuck them all up there.
I obviously don't think it would be at any third party conference, but the last thing I need is someone telling me my pole is biased to third party publishers :wink_smile:


They confirm demos being done for certain people, I'm talking about todd walking out during a press conference.

I'm unsure they meant the first ever demo.

In fact, the skyrim demo being directly after the press conference makes me more confident he will show up mat micrsofts conference. However, he'll only be able to show a little, and that's why that 20 minute demo is right after, to go in more depth than the conference.

How would GameTrailers have any idea what Microsoft is going to do?

I believe there is a decent chance that Microsoft would have a small showing so that they can get the first in-game footage shown on their console.

G4 has confirmed theyre going to have Skyrim related showings on the 6th and 8th I believe

Actually game trailers know everything about microsoft's presentation.
Michael Pachter, an annalist that works with game trailers, wen to microsoft yesterday and was shown 3 hours of things, all of which are going to be shown at their conference.
whether or not that was for his eyes only, or all of GameTrailers, is a mystery.

If you look at this year's floor-plan, Bethesda has a nice chunk of space rented out. I'm fully confident we will get plenty of info on Skyrim unless Bethesda decides to announce Fallout 4 out of the blue which I doubt will happen.

1. Todd Howard is an Xbox360 fan.
2. Fallout 3 was shown at the Microsoft Press Conference
3. Microsoft needs to show off killer software to win E3.

They better have tons of surprises, because as far as first party content, all they have is kinect and Gears

I dont expect much from E3 anymore. Heck the only reason im actually interested in E3 this year is because Im completely caught up in Skyrim hype. The last couple of years were very underwhelming for me as far as E3 was concerned. Last year was especially bad.

I voted no & no. Although Skyrim might be demoed in someones press conference, im not expecting it. Thanks to the interenet and all the video game journos competing for eyes. Beth doesnt need to have Skyrim ride on a particular consoles coat tails if the dont want too. There are plenty of mags and websites more than happy to give BGS whatever soapbox it wants to talk Skyrim.
