A cool arrow idea.

In Oblivion, when you went to go and take an arrow that was stuck to a body, it would just disappear and go into your inventory. You couldn't see any physical movement.Wouldn't it be cool if in Skyrim, you could actually see the player's character struggling to take the arrow out? Like actually putting your hands around the arrow and pulling it out. And as you pull it out, you see blood dripping from the head. I think it would add to the realism.

Also, is there still time for Bethesda to add dismemberment if they hadn't yet? I just think that dismemberment would be a really cool aspect to the game. The game comes out in 5-6 months, does Bethesda have time to add it if they didn't?

It would be cool... at first, but the novelty would soon wear out after having to watch the same damn animation every time you want to recover arrows. I think this is one of those situations where Gameplay > Realism I'm afraid.

A mildly interesting idea, but it's not going to happen.

Fun at first, will be annoying as hell later. About the dismemberment, as long as I can't un-head someone with an arrow.

No, it wouldn't be cool.

It got old after the 5th time when I wanted to skin an animal in RDR.

And I could see my self recovering arrows 100x more than the skinning I did in that game.

This.

Also, that means they will have to implement a "heavy realism" on the thing.
Can you imagine someone removing an arrow from his/her head without dying/brain damage? Pretty odd, huh...

I agree, after skinning animals for a while in red dead redemption it got really old.

"I've got 150 hours on this gamesave! Oh...and checking the statistics screen, 40 of those hours were spent watching the arrow-removing animation." :(

Nah, don't think we need this one.
