The grey fox's cowl is a quest reward from sheogorath. It should be anyways.

The mask belongs toNocturnal, not Sheo.

The Grey Fox isnt the leader of all Theives and the respeective branches and grouping...as all theivevs dont neceessarily follow a leader.

Nocturns cowl maybe.

werewolves are not confirmed, and i figure you can choose to follow hircine or not

I can't speculate on Sheo

ummmm Nocturns cowl is Grey Fox

Yes, but the hero of Cyrodiil is in possession of it. Besides, she's always having her things stolen, ironically. ;)

In an article I read, I remember reading that all the Nine Divines and same Daedric gods were still in Skyrim. In this case, Hircine would be in control of the werewolves if they were in the game right? And if the Thieves guild is still here, is the Gray Fox and Nocturnal's cowl still here to? How would they work out Sheogorath, did the old one take over the players body over time and eventually gain his old appearance or what? Could you guys try to giveme answers on these three questions, I seem to be confused.

1) Yes. Hircine would still be in control of the werewolves and perhaps werebears if they are in the game.
2) The thieves guild has different branches which seem to be completely separate from cyrodiil's. Nocturnal's cowl might come back by some circumstance though.
3) I doubt they would change CoC's position as Sheogorath (It makes the actions of Shivering Isles look worthless). If there is a statue in Skyrim, I bet the voice will be Haskil.

Reasonable.

Lesser daedra have become Daedra Princes before. I'd imagine that once the hero of OB died of old age, some daedra somewhere in Oblivion whose nature was attuned to madness was likely drawn to the position. Or the position was drawn to them. Or maybe they just liked cheese at the wrong moment.

Oh dear, I'm starting to sound like him.

Its kinda like the formation and continuance of the Shivering Isles has a momentum that ensures a new Sheogorath. The place has power.

Also, thieves in Skyrim may have very little connection to the cyrodiilic Thieves' Guild, especially in areas that are anti-empire. It would be interesting in the Thieves' Guild questline involved resolution of an internal split in the guild regarding its relationship to its imperial equivalent. Making the decision once and for all might even be your first decision as guildmaster. Regardless, there was a very specific reason the Gray Fox was stuck with the cowl. Its likely that at some point after the curse was broken Nocturnal reacquired it, allowing it to be rebestowed at some point later on.

If the werewolf quests are a fairly short and minor quest line, there's no reason to assume Hircine will be personally involved. I'd prefer that the Princes weren't invoked trivially. Except for maybe Sheo, since he/she/it seems to have an affinity for trivial pursuits.

I wish Sithis would be recognized for what he is...not a god.

According to the lore, Sithis may actually be more than a god in the traditional sense. It may be more like a force of universal law, which even gods are subject to. It doesn't seem to be sentient in the traditional sense tho, so it seems like worshipping it is kinda pointless except that maybe the attunement provides the insights that provide the powers that members of the DB enjoy.

Members of the Dark Brotherhood remind me more than a little of the teenage goths who are into the scene out of fascination with the worldview rather than just as a fashion statement. The DB is a balm to their angsty lunatic souls.
