Haven't been gaming much lately, and haven't been on this board for a long time. My SurveyMonkey survey might have locked up there for a while because my account lapsed briefly. I think it should be working now though.

Anyway, main purpose for this thread is simply to ask you guys who keep up to date: is there any more up-to-date information about whether Skyrim will require Steam or not? In skimming the most recent five pages of threads, I don't see anything that would clearly answer that question. I do see that a few recent threads have been locked.

My intent here is not to annoy by 'bringing up this tired debate' yet again, but just to get an update on whether it seems it will be available without being on Steam or not.
