Possible Mod-Related Glitch

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 5:56 am

I've been having a problem with animations recently. It's difficult to explain so bear with me.. At first it was when I sat down. Any time I sat down on a chair etc once I got up again my camera would have moved.. to about three feet to the LEFT of my character. Going into first person gave you a view of something similar to a fly buzzing three feet from my head, but third person works fine. It is hard to explain... the camera view would move so you're not seeing first person anymore, so your arms, hands, weapons etc would not be visible and it would be difficult to fight etc. As I said, going into third person shows as normal. Lately, after installing a mod that gives new animations for H2H and Bow first and third person animations, it now happens whenever I take out a weapon. Bow, sword, shield, even hands are now unseen and it does the strange 'this is a person looking over your shoulder' thing. I hope I've explained it well... it is a very strange occurance and thanks in advance for any help you may give. Cheers

I'm guessing it was Deadly Reflex. I ran into something similar. Whether it was Deadly Reflex by itself or in combination with another mod, I could never quite tell. I dimly recall the option of being able to see your legs kick in first person had something to do with it. I ultimately decided to uninstall it and am waiting on it to be fixed or for one of several combat alternatives to be finished.

Nope.. that's not it. I deleated all the folders included with the DR mod... I don't think that's causing it. Anyone else please have any ideas? I can't play until it's resolved :(

UV also has a FFP that is optional and is easy to disable via an ini setting, but if you posted your Load Order, some of the people might recognise a specific mod that causes your camera viewpoint issues.

Could be way off base here......

In the readme for DR 6 was a suggestion to change some setting to -0- and that it caused some to be missing menus and such?....Any chance you changed that setting?

Having your LO would help also...

Are you using any Skeleton replacers?
