Yup, plus three of which we have only seen parts of. Mainlaind Morrowind, Southern Hammerfall, and Northern (Plus eastern) Highrock have yet to be seen. They could always do just a region rather than a province.

Edit: Am I seriously the only one in this room who answered this question? Its kinda an easy one.

I have seen several people plainly state the correct answer. no.

Asking this is like like asking if the next FF game will be the last one. It will never stop, even if they go every providence then they'll just make one will all of Tamriel in one game, how epic will that be?

or in the unlikely event, unless some huge economic or corporate thing happens, that bgs falls under. but they won't stop making them for lack of sales, each title sells more than the last. there is a demand for the games and the devs probably don't mind the millions of dollars.

The only things the storylines have to do with each other is that they are set in the same universe and The scrolls predicted these things would happen. Except we don't know whats on the scrolls.(Well, we do, but its nonsense to us). So why not keep it going the way it is?

This. Not only do I want to see every province, but I want to see other continents after Tamriel is fully explorable.

It is the last about as much as final fantasy was final.........

As in they will continue to make these games until the sun turns to dust and atomic mimes take over the universe as long as people buy them.

Yes...... until Elder Scrolls VI that is

Bethesda aren't going to stop making these games, they are to successful it would be financial suicide to give up something so well loved and that brings in so much revenue.

I want to see the other provinces 1st before they do anything like that. Can't wait to see Summerset Isle and Valenwood.

All the main series ones have, insofar as the events are foretold by them; the destruction of the Staff of Chaos, the reawakening of Numidium, the destruction of the Heart of Lorkhan, the fulfillment of St. Alessia's pact.

Not that Chim. CHIM-CHIM.

Yeah, I still don't get it :P

Clearly missing a reference so never mind.

Edit: I guess he referenced something akin to the paintings in super mario 64 only with "random cultural icon monkey" =P :spotted owl:

Well, not Arena. It is the only game in the series where you are actively helping others decipher different Elder Scrolls to reveal the locations of long lost dungeons to find the peices of the staff of chaos. In other words, its based off of several different scrolls which suggest the same prophesy.

I didn't know that, thanks! I started with Morrowind and have tried to make attempts to play or watch the first two but never got around to it. :P

Actually if they ever run out of provinces they can say that someone has tampered with the elder scrolls changing history and time...like how the gray fox in OB did it but instead it happened on a large scale. fixing it could be the plot for a whole game

Well I hope not it is my lofty dream to work on an elder scrolls game, and I won't be out of college for 5 years.

Ah but of course we forget of Todd Howard's divine gift afterall wasn't he the one who predicted the end of the world on 2012? So maybe it will be the last.

Def not. It's like asking "Will Call of Duty: Modern warfare 3 be the last Call of duty?"

Absolutely not. LOL I just realised that 5 call of duty games have been made (including MW3 since it realises 3 days before Skyrim)
inbetween OB and Skyrim. rofl rofl rofl. Call of duty. :toughninja:
