Bethesda/Obsidian, let me just say that Fallout New Vegas has been a lot of fun for me. However, my first attempts at beating the game were unsuccessful. Once I reached the Strip and left, upon return the game froze up and corrupted my save file. I tried again; same thing. Repeatedly. 12 hours in. So I began a new game hoping it wouldn't be as bad as the previous waste of time. To my dismay, the game BROKE on me again. Once inside the NCR McCarren base, I accepted a mission from the Major to hunt down 3 men. The first bounty was successful. The second... not so much. I was no longer able to interact with any characters in the base. To top it off, they reacted as though there were hostiles in the base and there weren't. BROKEN mission. So I say ok I'll return to you in hopes that it's temporary (although I know it's not). So I go into the building where I find only 1 person I can interact with and she's the one in charge of the interrogation of the Legion prisoner. So I happily begin and as soon as I assault the prisoner he becomes hostile to me and an NCR trooper comes in and puts him down. So I reload and again it happens. BROKEN mission. 12 more hours wasted. I know you're working on the patch but until it's released I find myself with a game I cannot play
Have you tried clearing you Xbox memory cache?
I was having some issues, so i cleared my cache, and made a double copy save before entering buildings, starting quests, etc.... as much as i want to just go to town on the game, i always back up my saves....
but yes, if you clear the xbox harddrive cache, it will help free up some RAM within the system to help towards the saves.
