Resolution and lag

Post » Wed May 18, 2011 9:57 pm

How do I change my resolution from high to low or medium, and will that fix my lag problems? Also want to know if this will make my gaming faster? I often see that I get killed by someone before I even see them, but when I watch the replay I can see the whole thing. It's as if they where moving at hyper-speeds :(

Lowering the resolution makes the game user more CPU than GPU. So basically if you lower the resolution most of the load goes to the CPU and offloading the GPU a bit.

That makes sense. Thanks for that. I have a i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1.60GHz and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 1 GB DDR 5 Dedicated VRAM. Do you suggest lowering it or is this enough to not really make a difference?

I had the same issue with the delay. I lowered mine down to all being on High and found that helped. I also restart my router before playing and disable my antivirus. If I don't do that, I can tell a difference in the lag/speed.

Do you set the res in the game menu?
