Post » Thu May 19, 2011 9:21 am

Well since a moderater locked my last topic because they don't allow versus topics (which i find abit uneccassary since i wasen't trolling just getting peoples opinions) i made a BRAND NEW ONE which means i'll be opening a poll again. so! who inspired your character to be the envy of all your friends on brink?

Too many people try to hard to be that 'The Anger' too much, from head to toe. I base mine off of my comicbook character I made. :)

I cant deny that I love "the anger", but I do try to mix it up a bit...thankfully, resistance has a lot of other really nice options to choose from.

None of the archetypes I like are voteable... :sadvaultboy:

I picked The Firestarter, because I use that mask on easily 1/3 of my Resistance characters.

the G's red n black du-rag,the red/black hockey mask, no shirt half body tatts bandages on arms and the firestarters pants, you cant completley use one archtype if you are trying to be original.

I'm more of a Security guy, with kind of mixed parts...

But my Heavy Soldier's Resistance model is almost the full Fortress outfit, because it's AWESOME. Not a fan of the hat though - swapped that out for one of the bandannas. All in camo patterns. He looks very OMGWTF for the few seconds anyone will survive to see him.

No prizes for guessing mine.

I made the decision to stick to one archetype because I thought it was a good way to make sure my character's play style and purpose was completely clear right from the get go. (Not saying you can't do that with mixed clothes, but I think it's even more clear with the same types)

I mean, when you see the Shield, what do you think of? Breach and Clear heavy SWAT style motherf. That's what.

My main is an Operative based on the Marvel character Deadpool.. So his outfit is a mix..

- Fortress face gear
- Anger jacket
- Boilersuit pants
All in reds and blacks

I always use mixes.
I especially like this:
-'The Look' mask in bleu.
-'The Unit' jacket in bleu
-'The Shield' pants in bleu.
It looks like a total baddass if you're a heavy.

ya you got a point. but who could blame them. The Anger was pretty much the resistance mascot for Brink.
