I read a topic in these forums saying that the DLC for Brink is out already in gamestop. They said that gamestop called them and said that you can get it there. Is this true?

No he didn't misread it. Someone did post a thread about being contacted by Game Stop about BRINK DLC. Not sure where that thread went.

Just got the callback from Game stop. If you preorderd for the doom pack for PS3 you can pick up the DLC skins/tat's now.

does ANYONE know when the FREE DLC is out, i got brink on relase date, its a good game but it gettin boring now (doing) the same thing over & over & over
it says released in june but when??? :facepalm:

SD and gamesas have so far only confirmed June, no specific date yet, as far as I've heard.

I got Brink on release day and am only now starting to feel like it is repetitive. I could keep playing forever with what is already in the game though, but new maps are definitely welcome.

I don't understand the repetitive-ness. I have 4 level 20 characters and I still am finding new ways to flank/out maneuver/play the game.

Go to someone's house with your game and hard drive. Boot it up, it will patch it for you and then you can download the DLC from the LIVE/PSN Marketplace

DLC stands for Down-Loadable Content. Why you would even think go to a store for something your supposed to download is beyond me.
