Cant max out all classes?

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 11:09 am

Well I got this game about 4 days ago expecting something new and different, which I got to start with. This shine soon wore off after playing the same scenario again and again and again with stump stupid AI on my side.

I was expecting a nice shiny game as I said which this was but it has little durability and lasting draw. I appreciate other games seem the same but they arent. You dont constantly get idiot AI on your side and you can explain to other humans what they are meant to be doing. Watching an operative sitting near a hack objective with his thumb up his proverbial is just disheartening.

I was hoping that once i had maxed out the soldier class i could start working in medic or operative much as you can in almost every otrher game of this type (even once you max your level). This idea was born of a desperate need to try something else just to try to keep the game alive and slightly interesting but at level 20 you suddenly gain no XP and so can gain no progression in other classes.

Unfortunately I bought this game on the PC and so cannot trade the game in due to the serial code (which is discriminatory to all PC users) and so i consign it to the cupboard until an update with fresh content is released.

Back to Killzone I suppose even though I had such high hopes for this game.

Yeah do that.

When you make your second character all the weapons and costume pieces you had unlocked previously are still unlocked.

The reason you are not able to max out all classes, is because this is a team class based game. If you had the abilities of all the classes, why specialize? You can just do everything yourself/

This game extends playability by allowing you to create up to 10 new characters.

Oye, us ADD victims aren't some garbage you toss around as an excuse. We can THINK, I'll have you know. It just so happens we think with a much more broader and less focused view than most people.

More on topic, this isn't a game where you play to complete, or watch achievements/levels go up. This is a game about pure fun, and the great expereiences you could have not worrying about stats or anything of the sort. Classic fun. Granted, it's not very fun in that it's not polished and that it's outrageously rough around the edges, but this is only a game to play if you can appreciate fun without numerical signs of accomplishment.

Another option for the OP if he doesn't want to start from nothing is to respec with the "sell all" option - you drop one level, but get to fully re-equip your abilities - so your level 20 will be a level 19 with no abilities selected. Should give the freedom to mess with new builds/classes without having to build up from the beginning again.

Also, free DLC coming this month, so there's even more content in-game.

Also, YOU CAN FIX AI BELIEVE IT OR NOT! Splash Damage made friendly AI stupid so that it wouldn't "steal your thunder". If you play Versus though (Public or Private), since there's the possibility of having humans on either side, the bot intelligence gets balanced evenly in terms of skill and pro-activity. They still aren't the human-sort of intelligent, but friendly AI is a lot less rage-inducing and often out-scores the enemy it seems.
