Opinions on the HUD.

I'm pretty sure almost everyone now has seen the E3 Skyrim gameplay and knows what I'm talking about, But if not.

Now, What did everyone think of the Heads Up Display(HUD) for on screen gameplay? Personally I think it was quite impressive minus the few things. I don't exactly like how they have the bars along the bottom. Health in the middle and either a purple Magika bar or green Fatigue bar on the left/right depending on what's being wielded in each hand. And I get where they were going with that, Making it easier to tell which hand can do more and be more efficient. But that's up to preference and I'm just nit-picking, I personally would like something a bit more of the way, But it was good, Looked sleeker and more organized.

The compass looks much sleeker also and more out of the way and less noticeable but still enough to be useful. Same goes for the new enemy health bar they have that pops up on screen. Not some around the reticle white bar bull crap we had in Oblivion. Not to mention the enemies name is under the bar which in certain situations can be helpful to differentiate which enemy is weaker and which one you'd want to get rid of first. The reticle itself also looks much better, Especially for the little stealth bit that was shown. From what I understand, The reticle 'Eye' opens when you get slightly more detected (Show slightly opening when he shoots the first target) and closes when completely hidden (shown when he kills the 2nd target) That in my opinion seems much more helpful then the stupid fade thing.

All in all I think they did a superb job on the HUD.
