If you like I am well aware of the 13+ rating of the forums, then I assume you're also aware that Morrowind was the last game of said T rating. Both Oblivion and Fallout 3 have M ratings for those 17+ ages. Does it make sense to anyone here that the entirety of the forums are tailored to 13 yr olds when they aren't considered old enough to play most of the games anyways? Why exactly are there no areas available for mature or advlt discussions when the majority of the players are advlts?

I'm not saying woo let's start up forums where everyone can rp advlt situations and such. I'm just saying why can I, someone whose been playing these games since 'I' was 13 yrs old, now discuss the more mature themes inherent in these games, especially amongst the modding community? I've already been openly mocked by certain people that anyone whose been around the internet long enough knows who I'm talking about for stating my ideas on the subject. There are many popular games published that have tasteful scenes in them such as Dragon Age and Mortal Online. I honestly cannot understand why an advlt based forum can't be set up with age verification. If your complaint is that you can lie about your age, then why bother having it set up for Skyrim?

Who cares if severe cursing is barred? Do I curse? Certiantly, but I've always found using it twice or more in a post to be tacky. If a word is censored, it's easily ignorable. I've managed quite well, and I'm a 20 year old. I personally enjoy the relatively 'keep your words civil' rules here. I don't really frown on the occassional curse word, but some words are just annoying to me, and plus, some people can curse like sailors, I'd rather not see 'This effin guy is an effin jerk because he is a s head who can go eff a dog for all I effin care' if it can be helped.

Why would it be considered mature or advlt to curse?

I don't mind particularly, but there are times when the actual word its self works better.. say if youre quoting, or perhaps trying to rhyme... what rhymes with [censored] ?

I answered this in another thread you made. The forums are ESRB 13+ regardless of the game ratings and there are no plans to change. You agreed to the forum rules when you joined so you have to stick with them.

If you want to curse, swear, link to or discuss advlt material then there are plenty of other forums that would be more suitable for you.
