I figured I would ask here, as everyone here always gives stellar answers. I just bought a 42" LG LCD 1080P 60h TV. Amazing. Got a great price, but that isn't part of the question. What I want to know is: Can HDMI cables become faulty. I bought a used one, and games seem to vary per each time I play. Could be my eyes. However, I've played a Blu-Ray a few times (admittedly, the same blu-ray) and each time, right before the first screen pops on, a loud crackling noise emanates from the TV. I turned the TV off the last time until after that screen came on, and nothing happened. Is this unusual or no? Thanks in advance.
