Because it called a spokes modle. You know it like caption shepard. The Devs make an icon character for their game which will be in everything the devs make for the public to see. Do not worry all the other races will be in the game. This is an elder scroll game.

I more want to know sence they removed classes from the game. Will this mean races will have specail stats boost? Cause remember reach class had two stats they exceld at. Like a knight was str and end.

I think it would be cool to have different starting stats for different races. Also cooler if their male and female counterparts would be different.

Like orcs should have higher str end end then a elf. Who would have higher int and wisdom.

Obviously because races are cut! :bonk:

Were you around pre-Morrowind? They used http://www.pixelwell.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/morrowind_01_800.jpg for most of their promotional stuff, because he's a native to what would be the new game world and reflects the culture that we see there. For promoting Oblivion, they used http://www.morrowind-oblivion.com/oblivion/images/oblivion2.gif for the exact same reason. They've only been featuring a male Nord in all their screenshots and videos so far because they want to show us a character that reflects the kind of environment we're going to be seeing. All races will be playable, or it wouldn't be TES.

Why didn't he mention a PC version? WHY? He's not acknowledging all of the game's features, therefore they must not exist! There's no alchemy or enchanting because they didn't show it to us! No elves or Argonians! Night never comes! There are no towns! It's inconceivable that Todd Howard wouldn't mention some feature of the game in a four-minute gameplay demo where some idiot keeps talking over him to ask him things like "so this game, it is played with some kind of controller, right?"
