Need help fixing error

Post » Sat Jun 11, 2011 12:02 am

I recently installed the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions on my laptop (window 7 OS) and when I try to start my game it says "Failed to load Meshes\BM_Snow_01.nif." Anyway to fix this?

First... make sure you installed in this order = Morrowind->Tribunal->Bloodmoon (if you installed TR after BM, a simple re-install of BM will suffice)

Secondly... and more importantly... this is a http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/781497-vistawindows-7-problems/page__p__11345653#entry11345653 for anyone using Vista or Win7.

But.. the quickest way to fix it is just by simply http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/781497-vistawindows-7-problems/page__p__11352753#entry11352753 This will fix this error, and many others that can occur, as well as making mod usage much easier.

:)

I probably should have checked the FAQ first; my apologies there.
Also; thanks for the quick reply Pluto; your always the first to respond to my Morrowind problems haha.

Another method, if you don't want to bother changing file locations, is to just turn your User Account Control (UAC) off.
Some people prefer to keep it on, but it is safe for the most part, (unless you share a computer or don't want to risk messing something up)
