Actor with shader effect, definitely looks like ghost shader in Oblivion, does thats part of some spell visuals or such FX was applied with script such picture does not say.

Yeah I noticed that as well, I thought it was one of the guards since while the player is fighting the black dragon you can see two guards, one that gets chewed on and thrown and another one in the distant background.

Everyone in Tamriel can cast spells, Players don't have a monopoly on magicka.

Even the lowliest beggar can cast the lowest level spells.

I noticed something completely different in that picture, the mace has a weird, symmetrical mirroring of the blood decal on every blade, like any blood showing on one mirrors on the others. Not to sure how annoyed I would be if that was the case... seems distracting to me.

OT: Who knows, it could be a ghost/spell effect/glitch/whatever. If we end up finding ghosts near dragon bones in the retail release I guess we will have an answer.

The ghost of one of the guards that died from the dragon's attack?

Sounds silly though... if all the guards that die turn as ghosts. Sounds very silly

My honest opinion... is that it's quest-related or something.

I think its a chameleon spell, The guard would've cast it in battle and its probably still in effect after the battle. :disguise:

its a guard frost dragon attack him and he gets frost effect on him

im not sure what it it is but if you look carefulyl it has a mist like aura around it and from previous Elder scrolls games when you cast protect chameloen or whatever im pretty sure there no aura also there isnt a mist like aura with ghosts people either.... Maybe its some effect it could either or neither of everyones suggestions....

It almost seemed to be holding a weapon. I think it could be a gohst but I am unshure so I am not going to vote.

It's one of several "cameraman" characters in-game at the time of recording the demo. They wanted to get footage from several angles and positions for possible use in the video. To do this without causing NPCs/creatures to turn their heads toward the PC(s) they gave them 100% chameleon constant effects amulets. Also developed was a simplified mutliplayer feature to allow these multiple PCs in game at the same time, but sadly this won't be included in the release. Anyone buying this?

Well at least we will have dragon bone armour in the game.... cause if they dont do this I will be very upset and I will have to kill all dragons just for not giving me their bones

I dont know, it could be, maybe it is the dragons ghost.

Wahtever it is we will probably never get confirmation, btu I really dont think that it is a guard, it does not look like it to me, adn appears to mysticalified.

Rofl what, how can you honestly say you cant see through his legs in that picture you quoted. I can clearly see the entire outline of whatever that is at his feet and i can clearly see that he is standing infront of it. OHHHH unless of course hes wearing clothes that possibly directly match his surroundings including that big thing on the ground infront of him, maybe he is super sneaky hiding waldo *eyeroll

Also why is it that every single post you make comes across like you think youre better than everyone.
