Vampires?

vampires are a given.

playable werewolf would be more trouble than its worth, considering the lore needed to be involved.

though werebeasts in general yeah, just not playable.. i dont see the point. And it would clearly be a fan service thing to include. MGS4 shows what happens when you try and please the fans more than maintain a sense of internal logic.

Just because you throw in the word lore that doesnt make your argument valid. Honestly having the player character turn into a werebeast of an kind doesnt go against any lore. Skyrim is actually supposed to have werewolves, werebears, and wereboars in the lore so if you fought one then according to "lore" ou could become one through lycanthropy. where's your logic cause all you said was no?

Oblivion's vampires were portrayed so badly, they were ugly and as glitched as hell. I have high hopes for Skyrim. I'm thinking that vampires will now be much more monstrous and terrifying then they were in previous titles. I think it's very possible that vamprism will come with it's own unique perks.

Another point to make is the possibility of clans and or nests present in Skyrim. I think the only information we have on possible clans is the Volkihar (sp) thus far.

his argument is valid, canons are lore, so you should be able to use the explosive powder and use it as a weapon, or scale the cannons down into pistols, but that always meets violent opposition on these threads.

the explosives were dwemer in design, and thus the technology was lost with them. By that logic sphere centurions could still be being built.

Killing Hircine in bloodmoon put an end to the werewolf plague.
