Crysis 2 multiplayer population

Post » Sat Jun 11, 2011 12:21 am

Well it's been awhile since I've played Crysis 2 offline and online and posted for that matter. Finished LA.Noire and played a lot of Starcraft2.
I've got an itch to play Crysis 2 online again. The thing is I still haven't bought the 'retaliation' map pack...I wanted to hold out until crytek fixed that freaking 'grain bug'...which still isn't happening (what a joke).

So I'm thinking of purchasing the map pack and want opinions on whether I should or not. How is the Crysis2 xbox community fairing? Are matches full of players or does it take too long to find games? I usually played 'crash site' when I was kicking it on C2 online.

I really can't believe that the 'grain bug' is still here...and where the frak is the latest patch. WTF is the Crytek team doing...did they shift their entire crysis2 team over to that horrendous kinect 'ROME' game...seriously crytek, that game looks sooo bad.

I keep trying to get retaliation games but always end up in TIA as there's never anyone else playing. A shame, as I'm really enjoying it and can also sit for 10 minutes waiting for an assault game with enough players before I quit out.

FWIW, the retaliation maps I did get on (once!) were worth it.

We'll considering I've only got 1 reply in 2 days says a lot about the community...I will not be purchasing the map pack.

Holy smokes did this game die...faster than any other game I've seen.

Way to go Crytek/EA

Yeah it can be hard to get games on the map packs sadly :( Unless you play Team Instant Action, then it is rather easy. But the new maps are awesome! Just a shame that not so many people are playing on them.

I would wait until they integrate all maps together, playing the DLC separately BLOWs.

This^

The DLC was a waste of money for me. I think integration is the only way to keep the DLC alive at this point.

The worst part about it is the fact that I really like the DLC maps.

Makes me glad I had the foresight to see the map pack was a waste of money when they first leaked it's existence. I'd rather spend my $10 on some more cigarettes.
