The Adoring Guidance Counselor?

Is this supposed to be hand holding like Fable? Or annoying navigation like fairy from Zelda?

I want the fairy.

Have the Oblivion Adoring Fan Drug you guys, or was it Zip and Alister from Tomb Raider Legend (not sure if you know the Game) :P

I suggest he be like the Butler of Sheogorath where you Cast a Spell and have him Appear for 30 Seconds so you can have some guidance or Questions on what you want, i dont think i can stand someone following me and bugging me Constantly. ;)

I wouldn't mind it if it gave me good advice and tips.

But if it starts treating me like I'm a toddler with developmental issues (no offense, okay?) then I'm leaving it in a house somewhere and never returning to it.

So I was thinking it would be really sweet if Bethesda made a companion called "The Adoring Guidance Counselor."
This character would nurture you, and guide you through the ruggedness of Skyrim.

For example:

When you are following your beacon, some refer to it as the "Quest Marker," your AGC (Adoring Guidance Counselor) will constantly remind you of the importance of the task at hand, and how absolutely swell you are doing. When you are engaged in combat, the AGC will try to help you find an alternative to fighting. They should be very supportive of you regardless of whether or not you decide to retaliate against your assailant.

Bethesda will additionally need to incorporate a hand holding feature,
so as to absolutely remove any chance of your character losing his way.

If your character starts to get cold, the AGC would remove their armor, or fur to assist you.

What do you think?
Should Bethesda go through with this wonderful idea?
