I generally go for somewhere between 2 and 4.

3 & 1 sorta. I usually go with characters in books I've read. Or type something random until I'm happy with it.

I kind of expected what's showing up. People just want to get to the game...

Eh, I tend to cycle through a dozen or so names. Basically each kind of character has a name I tend to use for them (male warrior, wizard, female whatever, rogue). But they aren't any derivative of my name, nor do they have anything to do with TES lore. But they don't look out of place, either.

But none of those options resembles what I do, which I think is a fairly common thing to do, so I didn't vote.

I voted #2, though #4 is more like mine. I am always teh khajiit Ji'shandi, Dar'shandi, Dar'shanji, Ji'shanji, Do'shanji, Do'shandi... you get the point...
