Be it 1st person, 3rd person, on foot, by horse, no matter what, whenever I move my mouse to look around, my character immediately stops moving. The direction doesn't seem to matter. It makes the game virtually unplayable.

I've had Oblivion installed on my PC for 3 years and I've never experienced this problem before. I downloaded the codec pack suggested in 14.2 of the software issues thread but the issues continue. I am using a wireless mouse/keyboard.

Any advice?
