Money sinks

Well, I know how I'm spending my money: food, drink, shelter, Cure Disease potions, warm clothes. ... And Liquid Courage.

I don't plan on surviving long enough to be worried about building my characteristic hoard; gives me glee just thinking about it, though.

Bleh, I went all of Oblivion without buying a single item besides housing and decoration. I never find a use for money in games.

Player Housing and Shop owning requires actual thieves in the game. I am sick of being the only person who robs people. Just let us hire guards (imagine: build your own dungeon without the editor). Also carrying large amounts of gold / valuable items should attract more pickpockets or bandits.

Well, in the game there is an infinite amount of loot, and therefore an infinite amount of gold. I want them to add something that keeps getting better the more expensive it is, so no matter how much money you have, there's something to do with it. I've never found a game like that, and it'd be awesome if Skyrim did it. I always hated how in Oblivion I had 1 million gold, and it was useless.

I just don't pickup armor and weapons to sell only gold, gems, and jewelry. This way I never have too much money and after hundreds of hours I can finally buy houses and stuff :P

Costly lessons sessions with skill masters for new perks and trick.

High level perks should be learned from in-game skill masters not freely chosen in the level-up sessions.

Things like:
A museum that can display every item in the game. Complete with a library-wing that can hold every unique book that exists in Skyrim.

Hell, do what the JRPGs sometimes do; give me my own city. Build a town from scratch, hire employees, etc.

Think big. Bethesda needs to start considering the scenario "What would someone richer than Batman would want to have?"

It would be nice if there was a super-elite shop hidden away that you have to pay handsomely just to go to, in addition to it having ridiculously overpriced (but powerful) magic items. Just an idea.

Weightless Carrots.

......seriously though...i dont know im kinda drawing a blank...in a game like say Oblivion...we got so stinking rich... that the only thing to drain my gold was when i started using the alter of spell making for my high level spells with multiple effects.

I dont really want stuff real estate to get too over powering in the game but it needs to be there...but i dont want something like say Assassins Creed.

Build your own castle/stronghold, pay people to do stuff within it eg. smith, cook, guards etc.

Then defend it. :)

This. Like, to the extreme. As a Mage, I think there should be rediculously expensive but totally worth it spells. Like, something that takes an entire room of enemies and makes them CEASE TO EXIST.
