This is a response to the latest patch, this is not to flame Crytek or anything, these are my personal thoughts and feelings after just coming back from work and being surprised with what I've seen. So please don't ban or delete this thread.

I love Crysis 2, my favourite game of 2011. Yet, I'm so disappointed with this patch and previous ones and their lack of communication that I don't know even how to express it... I was kinda expecting this travesty but I was hoping for the better. I don't blame Cry-Adam as he is probably only doing his job and we know what that's like for anyone that has worked in full-time employment, which includes myself.

The fixes on this patch are good, however ALL the main issues as listed on my Issues and Suggestions thread (http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=29418) have not been fixed in this patch.

These issues on my list are the MAJOR problems that make the experience on this game sometimes unbearable for many players and yet they have been missed/ignored (I don't know which).

I really don't understand why all the IMPORTANT issues from Day 1 have not been fixed in it's subsequent 3 patches!

Again, I don't know what the feel now and I am in two minds. I want to play this game but I cannot cope with the issues any more especially now I've reached maximum rank (so little incentive to push through the issues anyway). There is also little point waiting for another patch because judging from the past what we want fixing will not be fixed, made worse by the fact they won't tell us what there working on so we don't know what to expect. Humans almost invariably hope for the best which in the case of C2 often leads to disappointment with the exception of the MP Balances and Network Performance tweaks which are great. The patches are lousy. I know the latter sounds harsh but to be honest they are..

I've just learned that a new Decimation DLC has been released. It looks really good but the fact that I don't want to play it anyway for the above reasons then there is little incentive anyway. I could hardly find anyone anyway on Retaliation and those have yet to be integrated with the main playlists. I wish they were free as an apology to their customer base and to make the MP experience better by actually allowing people to get in playlists and with new, fun maps and weapons but wishes and reality are too different things.. we live in a capitalist society not some idealistic utopia..

I wish other popular shooters were released sooner as like I said I don't play C2 much anymore and I'm not that into BFBC2 and definitely not COD. Looks like a long wait for the gamer until Sept-Oct when all the great games are released

I'm not going to flame or troll Crytek about the issues any longer.. I've given up. I've tried again and again along with others since release to tell them the major issues and nothing changes.. is this not the definition of insanity?
