The new gun is like an AK-47. Its great. Not really overpowered. Its rof is like the MK60.
The smoke grenade is sweet. It works really well with nanovision in cqc

I am sketchy about it the DLC. Weird that we have gotten nothing from CryAdam or anyone at Crytek in weeks and no official announcement about this Map/weapon pack until the day of? WTF? Not saying that it isn't cool but if they cannot integrate Retaliation MP into the current lineup or even fix current issues why support this new "unannounced" DLC? So is this what they have truly been working on other than things like host migration and countless other problems? Strange to me..... and should be to everyone else.

Ya I remember way back (April?) that Krakken guy played with the Devs and said they are working on a 2nd DLC...this seems to be it. Now what are they working on like you said the BIGGER issues perhaps finally???

The graphics are amazing in BFBC2... imo on par or better than C2 on Xbox 360, even my brother agreed when looking at me play the former that they looked better than C2.. but I suppose it is all subjective..

Sounds like a sweet DLC, but havent seen a trailer for it yet and cannot find one. I won't be getting it anyway, considering the issues and the fact I wouldn't play it due no-one being in the lobby makes it a meaningless purchase even though I have the spare points available in my account.

I'll be getting the DLC. I have a few hundred extra points laying around. I'll cap some vids of the levels and post them up sometime today.

Anyways, I imagine this is the case, and if it is found on the game disc already I wouldnt be surprised. The FY71 seemed familiar to me, and I remembered that was actually one of the guns frequently found in Crysis 1 by the Korean army. Nice to see it making its return in C2.

Yeah, they are playable on any map. I think the models and textures are already on the disk. Maybe the configuration files too, but with the update its activated for the people who downloaded the dlc.

Other people, who didn't get the dlc, could pick it up after I died.

Played a couple with you a couple days ago. I did pretty well on your team but then I ended up on the opposite side and your lot hosed mine on Downed Bird 50-9 I think. I finished top on 8-8. Tends to stick in your mind

First impressions: These levels are actually really pretty fantastic. Much, much better than the first DLC. Most are very unique at least in the way they are built. Some are pulled from SP, but seem to at least have some slight modification. Is it worth buying? We'll see, that depends on if there is a large enough player base.
