Was Crytek involved in the removal of Crysis 2 on Steam?

I'd like an answer. Was it all EA's decision or was Crytek involved? Did Crytek approve? Did EA threaten to not publish future Crytek games? Or is this all just a conspiracy theory?

DUH! They both had to come to agree on the decision whether or not EA blackmailed them. Besides, who cares?

If I would work at Steam then I would really like to remove Crysis 2 from title database.

Maybe Crytek couldnt handle with the problems in the Steam version or maybe (and I prefer this option) Steam know what is quality and when they saw that Crysis 2 have major issues and that Crytek is charging +10 for each map pack, then they decided to remove this title.

I think Steam is thinking about their clients more than Crytek is.

Sadly it looks like the EA greedy **** are doing whatever they want.

People at EA are really retarted.

Although - good for steam, C2 is really crippled title.

edit: interesting thread about the case: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1930418

I hope that they keep updating the Steam version. If not, EA support gets angry emails... I have Steam version.
