I've just bought a laptop for college. I will be majoring in game design and could think of nothing better to do on my down time than play a great game. Fallout 3. Unfortunately im not proficient with computer systems.

My laptop is an HP Pavilion dv7-4069wm. Its features are as follows..

-AMD Phenom II triple-core N830 processor
2.10GHz , up to 3.6 GT/s System Bus, 1.5MB L2 Cache

-4GB DDR3 system memory

-ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 switchable graphics with 512MB dedicated DDR3 and up to 2202MB total graphics memory

Based off these specs, is it possible to run fallout 3 efficiently on my new laptop?...

Yes it will run the game fine on about medium settings with decent enough FPS.
