Whatever happened to the good CryTek that actually gave out their map packs for FREE?
And I'm betting their probally going to figure out some way to make even more $$$ from the upcoming DX11 update and the mod tools.
Assuming the mod tools isnt a lie...

I used to believe in CryTek, Crysis and Crysis Warhead were great games that I enjoyed every moment of, and have replayed more times than I can count.
And in the end they failed, and not only gave us the sub-standard console port and corridor shooter that is Crysis 2, but they are also constantly trying to milk us for $$$.

Yeah the DLCs maybe cool and popular but that still doesn't mean that we should pay for them? I mean WTF already paid for the game. You may be rich and can throw away cash at CryTek for maps but CryTek should value their loyal customers. And not try to milk them out for cash?

Uh, I play on a DLC server every night CST 10 PM -4 AM. It's not as popular as stock servers no, but they do exist. DLC was really cool.

This is a fully priced retail game, this is not an MMORPG, this is not a Free 2 Play game.
Why on earth should I then be forced to fork out even more $$$ for more content In an already buggy game.

i dont see why all the pc dlc so far has been charged. dont mind 1 but both so far is silly. fair enough console owners there dlc is nearly always charged so its not a big kick in the balls.
crysis 2 is a really good game as a console game but so far its still a fail for pc. just hoping for the editor now so i can get my ￡30 worth

Yes I agree with you SDub the DLCs are really cool. But the fact that CryTek want us to pay for maps is new. And people are not use to CryTek wanting cash like that. And on top of that CryTek are not giving their customers enough payment methods for the new DLCs, just one is not enough a big company like CryTek should already know this. Another thing is at the release of the first DLC CryTek was informed by the customers through the forums that they would buy the DLC if a PayPal payment option was made available, but CryTek chose not act on this. But instead release another DLC that people will still want but wont buy because of payment methods. Not everyone will just post their credit card details on the internet.

Just release the DLC and charge for the weapons. People only bought the DLC for the FS7 any way. Let everyone else play the maps and not let them go to waste.
